  • Electrician and Wireman
  • Currently the course focuses on meeting the domestic needs i.e. for houses
  • Introduce course that also focuses on meeting large industrial and sub station needs like wiring work at industrial outfits or cable works at sub stations etc.
  • This module would also take care of revenue generation as the recruits could take up site jobs at various industries commissioned by Danke

  • Fitter and Welder
  • Introduce revenue earning module here. The recruits learning this trade could be given sub contract jobs commissioned by Danke initially.

   

  • Computer Operator
  • Apart from the basic computer programming like work, excel, courses in database management and data mining to be taught
  • Basic courses on multimedia
  • The computer centre at Savli could also double up as centre for conducting online agricultural trade for the tribal belt
  • Replicate programme like e-chaupal for this tribal belt – Bring in the power of the internet to the local traders

  • Sewing and Cutting
  • Apart from the current facility introduce courses in technical textile
  • This would attract more industries to ITI to commission jobs to the recruits
  • Invite fashion houses to set their workshops in ITI. Have basic embroidery and cutting and stitching work outsourced from ITI

   

  • Armature Motor Rewinding
  • Currently the course teaches only motor wiring
  • Introduce a course that is equipped to teach wiring for transformers and other industrial equipments

  Apart from the above mentioned trade up gradation, we intent to introduce two more courses in Institute:

  • Scholarship Programme
  • Under this programme, Danke proposes to organize internships to deserving students at their site jobs and manufacturing units across different countries.
  • The recruits under the able guidance of project managers would be deputed at various sites
  • This would ensure that the students would get an international and global exposure

  • Personality Development
  • Have regular workshops and Programmes on personality development
  • Team work
  • Invite spiritual organizations like Art of Living to conduct crash courses on developing positive attitude and spiritual well being
  • These could be regular workshops at regular intervals for the recruits.

  • Power is one of the most important sectors contributing to the growth of the country’s economy. It forms the core of any infrastructure. Power sector in India, is seeing a considerable growth.
  • Unlike other industries Electrical engineering is a very skill intensive industry, strongly driven by manpower, inspite of meager automation.
  • Electrical Engineering one of the most lucrative industry attracting skilled talents
  • There is surely dearth of an ITI that would develop and bring out the best talents for the Electrical Engineering industry.
  • By upgrading and choosing the above mentioned trades, ITI at Savli has the potential to bridge the gap and bring out the best of talents for this sector
  • Making ITI at Savli an Institute with an expertise to train and provide skilled talents for the Electrical sector.

  • Up gradation and renovation of Electrical workshops, to meet the industry demands
  • Renovation of the computer lab , AC, false ceiling etc
  • Construct an audio visual room for the faculties and recruits for presentations and workshops
  • Renovate theory classrooms
  • Have security cabin and cloak rooms for better security facility of the institute
  • Renovate the existing boys hostel
  • Construct women’s hostel for the female recruits
  • Parking area with ample parking facilities
  • Good water purifiers for the institutes, canteen and the hostels
  • Reconstruct drainage and water supply lines
